This morning we were on our way to Stella's house. Stella is a three year old friend of Asher's. Asher: "Mom, is Stella going to have a baby too?" Asher is really wondering if Stella's mom is going to have a baby. Asher is thinking a lot about the new baby that we be in our house. He calls our unborn baby his baby. Me: "No, her mommy is not pregnant." It is quiet for a while. Asher: "Maybe the baby already popped out!" Me: Thinking, maybe Asher should know a little more about how babies are born, "Well, babies don't really pop out, Mamas have to push them out." Asher: "Oh." It is quiet for a while again. Asher: "Mama?" Me: "Yes?" Asher: "Thanks for pushing me out."
