Adirah began walking on her own just a few days after her first birthday. And then suddenly a lot of things happened. She is no longer content to be fed. Now she wants to feed herself. So I have come up with a lot of food that she can feed her self. Squares of tofu, slices of sweet potato, cereal. But Adirah doesn't want to feed herself with her hands. She wants to use a spoon. And a bowl. And she doesn't want ANY help. But the she is not successful at getting the spoon in the bowl and the food in her mouth. So I feed her out of another bowl with one spoon while she works and works with her spoon.
